We are preparing for an annual 501c(3) non-profit charity sale, the Attic Trash and Treasure Sale, to be ended within three weeks. We collect household donations throughout the year and store them, then look for a building to house us for the few weeks leading up to the Sale, at the building we sort and price inventory of donations into departments then sell the items at our annual attic sale to benefit the underserved communities of Baton Rouge. This year our Sale will benefit the kids of Providence Road, our special needs friends at the ARC of Baton Rouge, St. Lillian’s Academy, Mental Health Association of Baton Rouge and Capital Area Alheizmer’s. PreSale is scheduled for February 24 and the Annual Sale is scheduled for March 1,2,3, 2024. Last year’s Sale proceeds were able to bless each of the nonprofit recipients with $50,000.00 a piece and a further 12 nonprofits with facilities and clothing needs. We are a women’s organization who takes helping our community very seriously. |
