Waste Pro purchases 26+ acres
The April 14, 2025 issue covers five commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge and Ascension the previous week, totaling $38.2M in disclosed volume. The headline deal: Rivermark SP Realty LLC and Rivermark MS Realty LLC, a pair of New York-based entities, paid $34.5M ($172.25/SF) for the industrial property on Industrial Drive in Geismar occupied by Marucci Sports and two other tenants. Land led the week with three of the five sales, including a 26+ acre commercial parcel at Leisure Road and New Rafe Mayer Road bought by Waste Pro of Louisiana for $2.5M, while an office property with a two-story building and a separate cottage near Essen Lane sold for $700K.
