The February 25, 2019 issue covers sixty-five commercial permits issued in Baton Rouge the previous week and three Planning Commission cases. A rezoning from Heavy Commercial (C2) to Commercial Alcoholic Beverage (C-AB-1) was requested for the planned Drago's restaurant off I-10 and College Drive, an applicant sought Heavy Commercial (HC1) zoning for a used car lot on Greenwell Springs, and a non-conforming business on a 1.457-acre lot on Jones Creek sought rezoning from Rural to HC1. Among the permits: land clearing on Old Scenic Highway in Zachary for a future single-family neighborhood and conversion of a 630 SF office suite to a residential apartment on Capital Heights Avenue.
