Add 13 permanent offices in an area previously occupied by cubicles, New offices will be built of steel studs and 1/2″ drywall (non-combustible materials). There will be no changes to lighting system except that a light switch will be added to each room’s existing lighting fixtures to allow lights in each office to be turned off individually. Occupancy sensors on area lighting will remain in service to turn off lights when not in use. Connect new room wall outlets to existing wiring circuits previously used for cubicles. There are (1) external uncovered stairway and (2) enclosed fire rated stairways of adequate size with no changes. There are 2 elevators with no change needed. The building is currently ADA and fire code compliant and will remain so. Added door hardware in the new permanent offices will be ADA compliant. |
