Apprentice Questions: Success with Cade McNabb

Today’s Apprentice Question is for Cade McNabb, Industrial Associate, in Baton Rouge, LA.

That’s how you build relationships—show that you can help them achieve their goals, whatever they’re trying to do.

Josh: What is your No. 1 rule for success in commercial real estate?

Cade: The most important skill you need starting out in our industry is being able to communicate with people. It all starts with that initial contact—whether it’s an initial phone call or meeting. If you can communicate with people, that’s how you build relationships and can ultimately be successful in this industry.

ELIFIN® apprentices are encouraged to be curious and ask questions to get the most out of the program. “Being an apprentice is different than being an intern,” says Mathew Laborde, President & CEO of ELIFIN®. “It’s more exclusive. It’s more substantial.” ELIFIN® apprentices dig into hands-on work from day one, getting experience that sets them apart in the commercial real estate industry and beyond.
