The headline deal: VIVEK&JAY LA LLC, a local investor, bought the 105-room Holiday Inn Express - Kenner New Orleans Airport on 32nd Street in the Highway Park area. Mixed-use and retail each accounted for two of the eight sales, including two Camp Street lots in the CBD, with a parking structure and a four-story building, bought by a Virginia-based firm, and the Lower Garden District property whose highlight tenant is Hi-Volt Coffee.
