The headline deal: ZURQUI LLC, Baton Rouge-based investors, bought the Oakmont of Algiers apartment complex at 2200 Westbend Parkway in the Behrman area, one of three sales that week from the same bankruptcy proceeding. Retail led the week with five of the thirteen sales, while WESTBANK MUSLIM ASSOCIATION INC bought vacant commercial land on Lapalco Boulevard and Bevolo Gas & Electric Lights bought the French Quarter showroom it occupies on Royal Street.
