The October 16, 2023 issue covers six commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge the previous week. The headline deal: Wax Pointe LLC, a local investor, bought a shopping center on Wax Road in Central anchored on both ends by Las Palmas and Johnny's Pizza. Retail led the week with five of the six sales, including the Perkins Road Veterinary Hospital, bought by Chicago-based Shore Capital Partners, and a property off Highland Road near LSU's North Gates bought by the lead partners of Leake & Andersson.
