Former Albertsons sold
The January 23, 2023 issue covers eight commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge the previous week. The headline deal: OVGS LLC, a local investor, bought the former Albertsons at Oak Villa Boulevard and Greenwell Springs Road. Retail led the week with three of the eight sales, including the former Sammy's Grill in Central, bought by the owners of Ichiban Sushi, while New Orleans-based investors bought more than three acres with I-12 frontage off South Harrells Ferry Road.
