The April 3, 2023 issue covers thirty-eight commercial permits issued in Baton Rouge the previous week and three Planning Commission cases. The cases included The Village at Magnolia Woods, a proposed rezoning to a Planned Unit Development for a mixed-use development with low- and medium-density residential and commercial/office uses, along with a rezoning to let Gov't Taco serve alcohol in outdoor seating on Government Street and one for an used car dealership on O'Neal Lane. Among the permits: a new apartment complex at 4663 Joor Road with a clubhouse and pool, a maintenance building and fifteen 24-unit apartment buildings.
