The headline deal: HPI Oliver LLC, for Connecticut-based real estate investment firm Hamilton Point Investments, paid $21.8M ($113,281/unit) for the Oliver Apartments, a 192-unit student housing complex on Burbank Drive near LSU. Office led the week with five of the thirteen sales, while Minnesota-based Tailwind Group bought the Sterling, a 98-unit apartment complex near LSU's North Gates, for $15M and a New Orleans developer bought a four-story downtown office building for $5.5M.
