Former Church of the Way campus on South Foster sells for $1.2M
The July 15, 2019 issue covers six commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge the previous week, totaling $2.53M in disclosed volume. The headline deal: 250 SF LLC, consultant Perry Franklin of Franklin Associates, paid $1.2M for the former campus of Church of the Way Presbyterian at 250 South Foster Drive. Steve Caruso bought two fourplexes and two eightplexes in the Central Woods area for $960K, or $40,000 per unit, and Bellue's Welding bought three vacant lots on Pocahontas Street near its Scenic Highway location for $30K.
