The December 13, 2021 issue covers thirteen commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge the previous week, totaling $53.9M in disclosed volume. The headline deal: Arlington Marketplace I LLC, a California-based investor, paid $30.1M ($231/SF) for Arlington Marketplace, a Rouse's Market-anchored retail center on Arlington Creek Centre Boulevard near the LSU campus. Land led the week with six of the thirteen sales, including John Engquist's $12.5M purchase of more than 280 acres off Nicholson Drive at the parish line zoned for single-family residential development, while an Austin-based investor paid $3.25M for the 32-unit Kenilworth Manor Apartments.
