The April 5, 2021 issue covers fifteen commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge the previous week, totaling $15.5M in disclosed volume. The headline deal: Engquist - River Properties LLC, a local developer, paid $5.68M ($101.51/Land SF) for vacant downtown lots at the corner of River Road and Main Street. Office led the week with five of the fifteen sales, while Dallas-based Rise Residential paid $2.3M for the 191-unit former Brandywine Apartments off Darryl Drive and the owner of Ruston-based steak house Beau Vine bought the former Barcadia spot on Highland Road for $1.5M.
