The February 26, 2024 issue covers five commercial sales recorded across New Orleans and surrounding markets the previous week, totaling $28.4M in disclosed volume. The headline deal: ATHLOS ACADEMY OF JEFFERSON paid $27.5M ($305.56/SF) for its charter school property at 979 Behrman Highway in Terrytown. Retail accounted for two of the five sales, including Goody's Seafood, a retail grocery on 4th Street in Harvey that sold for $180K, and the Old Bacchus Lounge property in the Milneburg neighborhood, which sold for $105K.
