The January 9, 2023 issue covers thirteen commercial sales recorded across New Orleans and surrounding markets the previous week. The headline deal: 1000 HOWARD LLC, Lafayette-based investors, bought the 1000 Howard Building on Howard Avenue, 12 stories plus basement with 84,466 SF of office space. Mixed-use led the week with five of the thirteen sales, including the former Ronald McDonald House location on Canal Street in Mid-City, bought by a local non-profit, while a roughly 5,920 SF retail space on Airline Drive in Metairie sold.
