The September 5, 2022 issue covers five commercial sales recorded across New Orleans and surrounding markets the previous week. The headline deal: LOVING SCHOOL FACILITY L L C, a non-profit, bought the Martin Behrman schoolhouse property, about 120,000 SF on a 1.9-acre lot on Opelousas Avenue in Algiers Point. Mixed-use and retail each accounted for two of the five sales, including a two-story Gentilly Boulevard building with salon and office space, while a local group acquired a RaceTrac gas station property in Algiers with the price withheld.
