Two mixed-use properties sell in French Quarter
The December 23, 2024 issue covers twelve commercial sales recorded across New Orleans and surrounding markets the previous week. The headline deal: METALS USA PLATES&SHAPES INC bought the industrial warehouse property at 550 Modern Farms Road in Westwego, adjacent to its current location. Industrial and retail led the week with three of the twelve sales each, including an Elmwood industrial property with light manufacturing, office and warehouse space that sold, while two French Quarter mixed-use properties changed hands, one on Toulouse Street and the former home of The Governor Seafood & Oyster Bar on Chartres Street.
