Retail Center in Central sold
The May 17, 2021 issue covers nine commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge the previous week. The headline deal: WM Blanchard LLC, Alexandria-based D'Argent Companies, bought Central Plaza, a strip center at the corner of Wax Road and Sullivan Road in Central. Retail led the week with six of the nine sales, including three Big Brother's Meat Market locations bought by net lease company Sands Investment Group at undisclosed prices, while a California-based buyer bought the medical facility used by Baton Rouge Vascular Access on East Airport Avenue.
