Shopping Center Sold for 7m & Proposed Food Truck Park
The April 12, 2021 issue covers eight commercial sales recorded across Baton Rouge the previous week, totaling $14.5M in disclosed volume. The headline deal: The Kronlage Family Limited Partnership, a Metairie-based investor, paid $7.29M ($94/SF) for the Sherwood South Shopping Center at the corner of South Sherwood Forest Boulevard and Old Hammond Highway. Office led the week with four of the eight sales, including Ametek's $3.5M purchase of the Orion Instruments office and warehouse near Oak Villa Boulevard and South Choctaw Drive, while developer Arthur Lancaster bought more than 36 acres off South Harrell's Ferry Road for $1.83M.
