The headline deal: Baton Rouge Hotel Group LLC, for Mississippi-based investment firm The Thrash Group, paid $7M ($79,545/unit) for the Holiday Inn Express at 400 North Boulevard in downtown Baton Rouge. Self-storage and office properties led the week with three sales each, as Brooklyn-based Merit Hill Capital bought a 423-unit self-storage facility at Airline Highway and Greenwell Springs Road for $5.71M and a 158-unit facility on Greenwell Springs Road for $3.16M.
