Apprentice Questions: Celebrating a Close

Today’s Question is for Alex Ruch, Senior Associate in Industrial Sales & Leasing in Baton Rouge, LA.

Kat: What is your favorite way to celebrate after closing a deal?

Alex Ruch: I always get a coffee. I’ve been doing it from the get-go. It’s just a simple way to acknowledge the work that was put into the deal. Often, in this industry, we have our noses to the grindstone, hustling hard, and sometimes we forget to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the fruits of our labor. This is my simple but very enjoyable way of doing that.

ELIFIN® apprentices are encouraged to be curious and ask questions to get the most out of the program. “Being an apprentice is different than being an intern,” says Mathew Laborde, President & CEO of ELIFIN®. “It’s more exclusive. It’s more substantial.” ELIFIN® apprentices dig into hands-on work from day one, getting experience that sets them apart in the commercial real estate industry and beyond.
