January 10, 2022 – Baton Rouge, LA – Will Chadwick, Partner – Retail Sales & Leasing, is pleased to announce that CounterSpaceBR is set to open their second location at Coterie Exchange in Baton Rouge.

Local entrepreneur and from-scratch baker, Sarah Joy Hays, launched CounterSpaceBR in 2017 and operates its current location on Perkins Road. “We are so grateful for the support of our loyal customers over the last five years,” she said. “We’re thrilled to expand our reach and find more ways to connect with our Baton Rouge community through our baked goods in the new space.”

CounterSpaceBR is a gourmet, from-scratch bakery that offers breakfast pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, pies, and breads along with an assortment of coffee and other treats from local retailers. Sarah Joy and CounterSpace also recently launched a cookie subscription box that features a dozen fresh cookies for pickup, delivery, or shipping the first week of every month.

Located in Suite D at Coterie Exchange, CounterSpaceBR expects to open their new location in Spring 2022.

Will Chadwick is also pleased to announce that construction at Coterie Exchange is now complete and interior tenant buildouts are well underway. A grand opening is expected in Spring 2022, with some space still currently available for lease.

Coterie Exchange is a new upscale retail & office development located at 7575 Jefferson Hwy near the intersection of Corporate Blvd and Jefferson Hwy.
