11 Mar Highland Park Marketplace Attracting Both National and Local Businesses to South Baton Rouge
March 11th, 2020 – Baton Rouge, LA – Will Chadwick of Elifin Realty and Brian Douglas Campbell Jr. of Big Horn Development have announced the addition of three new tenants to the shopping center development Highland Park Marketplace in South Baton Rouge. “We are still expecting construction to be completed by the summer and we’re continuing to sign quality tenants for the development,” says Brian Campbell Jr.
Walls Décor & More Interiors, previously announced as the unnamed anchor tenant for Building 400, will be occupying 3,998 SF in Suite 402. Walls Décor & More Interiors is a family owned and operated company and has been located on Perkins Rd in Prairieville since 1996. They provide completely personalized interior design services to their clients and specialize in custom window treatments. “We are excited to be moving to our new location at the marketplace,” says the owner Mia Townsend. In 2018, Mia diversified her offerings by opening The Hardware Studio and partnering with Local Lagniappe Shoppe, owned by Krista Dubroc. Both Local Lagniappe Shoppe and The Hardware Studio will operate in Suite 402 along with Walls Décor & More Interiors.
Highland Park Marketplace is also welcoming a national tenant, AR Workshop, to the development in Suite 406. “We are a boutique DIY studio where guests can create unique home décor items with a fun party twist!” says local owner Kelly Webster. AR Workshop has locations around the country, but Kelly will be bringing the first location to Louisiana.
The most recently secured tenant for Building 400 is Sync Wellness, who will be occupying Suite 403. “Wellness made easy, that is what we are excited to bring to Highland Park Marketplace. We look forward to providing our community with comprehensive wellness consultation and convenient, customized packaging of professional grade supplements,” says Angie Huff, lead Pharmacist and founder of Sync. Angie is an expert in holistic supplement therapy and has over 12 years of experience helping patients live healthier lives.
Will Chadwick, who handles leasing for the development, says that there are only a few suites still available and that he has had recent interest from businesses who are excited about the new tenants joining the development. “We are continuing to expand the tenant mix with unique and attractive concepts that bring the community to Highland Park Marketplace,” says Chadwick.
