Highland Park Marketplace Secures New Tenants and Will Soon Break Ground On Final Phase


October 15th, 2019Baton Rouge, LA – The premier retail and shopping center in South Baton Rouge, Highland Park Marketplace, will feature several new tenant openings and will break ground on its final phase of development before the end of year.

After celebrating their grand opening last week, Paperwhite Stationary Boutique is now open for business in Suite 303. They offer quality letterpress, invitations, calligraphy, and gifts and feature exclusive lines of products and unique offerings from local artisans in their store.

Ochsner Urgent Care is finishing the buildout of their brand-new suite in Building 300 and is expected to open in the coming weeks.

Fab’rik, a boutique brand with over 40 locations nationwide, has recently finalized their lease for Suite 302, a deal that will bring their first location to Louisiana. A grand opening date is to be announced soon.

Outparcel lots in the Highland Park Marketplace development have been sold to Red River Bank and The Pediatric Place. Both of these businesses are expected to break ground on their new buildings in the coming months. Red River bank is a community bank, established in 1999, with multiple locations across Louisiana. The Pediatric Place is currently located on E Petroleum Drive and plans to construct a new, state-of-the-art pediatric medical facility.

The last two outparcel lots, both ±1.03 acres and fronting Old Perkins Road East, are now available for sale or build-to-suit.

Brian Douglas Campbell Jr., the developer of Highland Park Marketplace, says ground-breaking for the final phase of development, Building 400, is expected in November and a new anchor tenant, to be announced soon, has already been secured.
