Construction on St. Bernard Circle Apartments, across from Circle Food Store in Orleans Parish, is currently underway after breaking ground on October 25. Permits have been issued for the construction of the 53,485-square-foot, four-story, multifamily development, which will also feature two retail spaces and a landscaped community park. The 51-unit development is slated to provide more affordable housing and has been recognized by the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO), and the City as an important development. Landis Construction is the contractor on the development.

In Jefferson Parish, large projects on the East and Westbank are taking place. Two new builds are currently underway: a $4.9 million project at 1208 Elmwood Park Blvd and a $3.8 million project at the Johnny Jacobs Jr. Memorial Playground. Faulk & Meek General Contractors and Verius Property Group LLC, respectively, are the contractors for the projects.

In St. Tammany, a new commercial project is underway adjacent to the Avanti Senior Living at Covington facility. The project is being led by Spartan Building Corporation in Madisonville.
