Fly: I want to know, what is your first memory of buying or selling something?
Perry Musgrow: The first house I bought was when my wife was pregnant. We were expecting a son. We closed in August, and my son was born in November. We were in there painting the room blue and everything. I still own that house. It was a pretty house, on a corner lot, and my wife discovered it. Oh, she fell in love with it, and so did I. It was a great place to raise my son. I used to teach him how to play baseball in the backyard. He turned out to be a very good catcher, and his 10-year-old Peewee team won a national championship.
Fly: What’s your best advice for someone who’s looking to purchase a property now?
Perry Musgrow: Don’t wait until the interest rates drop. Buy something now while the prices are stable, because when the interest rates drop, prices are going to start creeping up.
